Re: Noisy runflats
Thanks, I wondered if it was just something I'd imagined. I certainly expected better for a £60k car.

Noisy runflats
Did some test driving today. Shocked at how noisy the runflats are, really off-putting and totally spoiled the ride for me.
Anyone got a view? Or a solution, even better?

Re: Jon Lord RIP
Yeah, I'm the same. grew up on Purple. Only saw them live once (1973? was it). Brilliant stuff, and I have the remastered double Made in Japan CD (and my original, much played vinyl one).
Classic.
Classic.

Re: Adding Park Heating and Wheel Heating to an E70
Do the cars not have the actual Webasto heater (Thermotop C I think) as standard anyway? Diesel block heaters are very common...?
I'll take a look at that site too. Thanks

Adding Park Heating and Wheel Heating to an E70
Anyone know whether it's feasible / simple to add or enable the Park Heating (Auxiliary Heater with Remote) feature to a diesel X5 that does not have this feature from new? It's Option #536 from new.
Also the Heated steering wheel...?

Winter tyres. 100% recommended, fantastically better than standard in the snow / ice

Re: New Vredestein Wintrac 4 xtreme tyres x 4
Leaving aside the debate of newbies selling stuff, I can vouch for the Wintracs.. had them on my Range Rover and Discovery. Very good. Astonishing price he says he paid though. The RR ones (19" and almost the same size) I paid under £200 each....
