X5 G05 - Why are 40i cars added extras inferior to 45e cars?

Why do you specifically want a 40i? I think the 45e has the same engine but is a plug in hybrid with more bhp. There are a lot more about with excellent specs. Don't know why most of the 40i don't normally have a big specs.

Anxiety Day approaching..........

Just had mine MOT'd today. Dropped car off at 09:30 and started checking Gov website at 10:15 to see if all was OK. Passed with flying colours, no advisories so I can relax for another year :)

dedicated towbar wiring

Simon, I know this doesn't solve your problem, but do you really need the fridge to work while towing? None of my BMW's have had the wiring for the fridge and I have learned to manage without it. Let's Talk Formula 1

Think Red Bull might struggle in Canada this weekend.

Any church mice around?

Oh dear, not quite the DIY job I thought :( Might have to try disolving the gunk in the tank, possibly with white vinegar?

Any church mice around?

I need to book my car in for the drivers airbag to be replaced after receiving the recall letter.
My washers are also poor so the filter on the washer bottle will need de-gunking. I was hoping to do this myself when the weather gets a bit warmer. Did my sons 3 series washer filter a couple of years ...

First real fault problem in 5 years!

Had the same messages some time ago and it was after hitting a big pot hole. Moved the wires on the sensors near the fromt wheels from the ABS, pad wear sensors and faults cleared. Had car checked out by indy and they found no faults. Happened some time later after going over more very rough ground ...
