Thanks for your help, maybe I am wrong about the message on the dash, I watched an American guy on youtube explaining how to manually close a sunroom etc, and thought he reffered to a symbol on the dash :-[

Neither the arm or the fluid work, as I say I think I,ve Checked the fuse, which seem ok so wonder if there is a separate relay ???

As for the sunroof nothing works at all, no message on the dash, no sound of a motor trying to operate etc. the roof is fully closed, but the head lining is opened ...

Thanks for your reply, I have (I think) checked the fuses for the rear wash/wipe, and they seemed ok, so not sure what else it could be :blink:

I am a new member of your forum, and would be grateful if anyone could offer any advice, I have a 54 plate X3 2.5i, and the sunroof does not work at all, the glass or the roof lining

When I operate the switch there is no sound at all, also the rear wash / wipe does not work, can any one ...
