Morning all. I bought my 2015 approved used X5 with fully re-furbed alloys by BMW 4 months ago.

Already the diamond cut wheels are starting to corrode around the centre caps and other areas. Some of the finish is starting to show signs of lifting/flaking inside the drum between the spokes also ...

I purchased a 2015 plate X5 a few months ago 'approved used' from BMW and the car had the same tyre wear.

3mm fronts - they agreed to change
4mm rears - they would not change advising 3mm is the trigger

Maybe some good negotiation could get all 4 replaced! Or even offer to pay 50/50

Does anybody know what brand BMW would fit? Cotswold BMW have quoted £146 with sensors and delivery.

I have this morning pulled the trigger on a full winter set-up bought from a seller in Germany.

19" Style 450 alloys with Michelin Latitude Alpin tyres with the BMW * mark (6.5-7.5mm tread). Wheels are balanced and fitted with RDCi pressure sensors.

Just over £1000 delivered - I think that is ...

Can anyone confirm whether the wheels in the gum tree link above will in fact fit a X5?

The 19" Double Spokes 467M style alloy seems to have the following staggered tyre sizes fitted in summer tyre format:-
Front: 255/50 R19
Rear: 285/45 R19

Yet an extract from the BMW winter wheels brochure states the following tyre sizes for the SAME wheel style:-
