I put £20 a time in my 3.0d and I get 120 odd miles that's just round town driving, dropping the kids at school, shopping, short trips etc... I don't know how to set my fuel computer up but I think that's pretty good considering it's such a big car!

It is permanently engaged and designed to be that way.  You would have to pull the power off but that defeats the object and you lose AWD operational torque shifting.
:ant: Never anthropomorphise computers. They hate that.

I had the head off last year for a broken glow plug.
Since then I'm averaging 34 mpg on a tank. And that's driving it like it's meant to be[emoji12]
Obviously the head skimmed and ports cleaned have improved performance.

My car has 197,000 miles showing and I get 27 mpg which is mostly town driving.  I went on a long run recently, mostly motorway and after resetting trip was showing just over 40 mpg.

197k wow that's impressive. I'm coming up to 64k on my 2nd year with my 60 plate.
Have you had any major repairs during your ownership?

To be honest I have only just had it over a year but having a good crawl over it the only major thing that appears to have been recently replaced is the turbocharger.  I have only serviced it and replaced some rear suspension linkages as the rear camber was way off and rear dampers which were leaking.
