The battery is an 019 format from memory but the figures you quote are correct for a standard E70 battery.

You cannot just swap an E70 battery as the car is fitted with an intelligent charging system meaning it has to be 'told' that a new one has been fitted and what type it is.  BMW can do it - and charge accordingly - decent BMW indys should be able to do it, or you can diy with something like the Carly App and adapter.

Can't help with the 020 as you will need to check the mounting plate in the car.

Varta are coming up as a good type and seem more reliable than the Bosch S4/5 types.  Is the Halfrauds battery AGM?  The standard battery type is AGM (Absorbed Glass Mat) and not the older type 'wet' battery.
