The official version needed welding until 2010 and also requires bumper cuts, paint. Later versions are 'cut and clamp' replacements but still needed bumper cuts and paint.

The OEM clamp on kit is as per the attached, I fitted this last year, easy to do, you need to cut the existing tip as per the instructions, pop out the bumper insert that's there for the standard tip and clamp the oval ones on.

I've got the BMW fitting PDF instructions if you wanted to take a look.

It's easy to do, I used a mates exhaust cutter, basically a big pipe cutter, cut the existing pipe tips off as per the instructions, pop out the bumper insert to enlarge the hole and clamp on the new oval tips.

Any pictures of the before and after of this from anyone?? I do like the square shaped tail pipes but also accept it's quite an expense just for different tips!!
Like to see the comparison of before and after on same car though.

Thats better - they look really good a vast improvement I would say. Did you do them yourself? Was that the OEM kit you purchased?
Cheers for the pic
