Stereo display ribbon repair.
Hi folks,anyone know of a good guide of how to do this.seen a couple of you tube vids,but dont think they are very good tbh.

Ribbon cables can be soldered off/on but with great care as the connections are so close together. I have replaced one as a workshop technician back in the day, but wouldn’t at home with my general purpose soldering iron. Might be worth taking the whole thing to a specialist

I already have the new ribbon which is the clamp on type so no solder or glue needed.
