Just did 408 miles today, took 11 hours. Recon 4 hours sitting or creeping. Interestingly one of the hold ups was a Merc that had stopped in the 3rd lane during one of the stops and had applied his electronic parking brake. Wouldn’t release, the police obviously had to stop the 3 lanes and after much pissing about finally hooked up a rope and dragged it to the hard shoulder. I’m told this new technology is the way forward.

Ye Gods, that’s a bad day! I can only guess the Merc’s brakes overheated and jammed?
All this new tech is the primary reason I still pay a fortune for a BMW Warranty even after 8 years. I just plain don’t trust it!
