I'm swapping my door mirror as it got broken but the new one doesn't have the large plug on it. What does that do?Not joined yet? Register for free and enjoy features such as alerts, private messaging and viewing latest posts and topics.

Re: Door mirror
If you look underneath the mirror housing there should be a downlight. The plug is for that

Nope. The plug for the light is still in the housing.

Re: Door mirror
I did mine recently so I should know but my memory must be fading! I think there was a big plug which is for the auto dimming, and another small plug or connection for the heating to stop it misting up, got mine from Latvia on eBay for £60, better than the £300 from the dealer
