when using Bluetooth in the car I can hear people perfectly well but they constantly complain that they cannot hear me. Is there a way of boosting connectivity, or is there something else wrong?

Have you tried turning the volume up on the steering wheel of volume button...

yes its not the volume, it breaks up according to the recipient.
