Some of you may be aware that I’m always scouring the classifieds for an X5 replacement. I have not found anything yet although a Mercedes ML320 nearly took its crown the other week..
Anyway, I was thinking this morning about the ML and part of the reason it appealed to me was that it was silver with gloss black wheels and side running boards, Our Range Rover is dark red with gloss black wheels too. And running boards.
My X5 is silver with running boards too but has the standard silver tiger claw wheels.
Should I go gloss black?
Opinions..

If you like black why not , plenty of cars with black wheels now , I think it can be a bit too much black on a black car though but that's just my opinion

I'm not a fan of black wheels. Without regular (sometimes daily.....) re-application of tyre dressing, the tyres end-up lighter than the wheels and that just looks naff.
I don't like wheels with "diamond cut" accents, either.
