diff oil
hi can anyone who has changed their front and rear diff oil tell me is it 75w90 gear oil and how much should I buy ... I have just spent two hours scrolling through posts on here and I am still none the wiser make it simple please its a great forum..... Muz

Front/Rear: Hypoid Axle Oil G1 (BOT448) BMW Part No: 83 22 2 295 532 This oil was assigned as the standard oil from 2011 as the previous oil was out of production.
Front capacity = 0.6L for a change, 0.7L if new fill.
Rear capacity = 0.85L
Looks to be a 75W 85 weight fluid.
The manual says “no additives. Ever. You’ve been told”.

Thank you I done all the research and found a German oil Ravenol and it meets all the specifications they also do transfer case oil I bought 1 extra diff oil £80 delivered am happy with that I will post all the spec’s but my eyes are square at the moment…
