New guy with x5 e53 is

Post by Chri5v8 » Sun Feb 02, 2025 6:43 pm

Good evening all.
Just found this forum a short time ago.
Recently just bought a 2002 x5 4.6is.
All in black with black with black leather too.

Always wanted one but not as a daily driver.
Got a few issues with it (nothing big hopefully) so hopefully will find answers here.

Hello and :hi: .

Looks to be a tidy example for a car that’s getting on a bit now. Yours must be over 20 years old, so not bad at all. The 4.6 became the 4.8 when the model was face lifted in late 2003.

A few folks on the Forum with V8s so ask away.
:ant: Never anthropomorphise computers. They hate that.

Unfortunately it was fairly common. Bmw plastics that don't like hot oil
