Would a 2008 3.0l petrol with 140k on be a disaster waiting to unfold? The 3.0l petrol E53 was ofter regarded aa the least desirable, i wonder if that applies to the E70?
Car has service history is a good colour and looks tidy, subject to inspection of course.

The N52 3.0L petrol in the E70 is generally reliable. At 140k, check for oil leaks, water pump and thermostat history, and any oil consumption. If it's been well maintained, it can be a solid choice, though fuel economy won't be great.
