Front Suspension Components Already Replaced:
Thrust Arms / Tension Struts (The large, forward-facing lower control arms with the fluid-filled bushings)
Anti-Roll Bar D-Bushes
Anti-Roll Bar Drop Links (The vertical rods connecting the anti-roll bar to the struts)
Strut Top Mounts & Bearings (The assemblies at the very top of the shock absorbers under the bonnet)
Track Rod Ends
Strut Top Mounts & Bearings
The Issue:
Persistent front-end knock/clonk when driving over bumps and uneven road surfaces.
Diagnostic Notes to Include:
There is absolutely zero noise, play, or movement when the car is jacked up and the wheel is shaken at the 12/6 or 9/3 positions.
The noise only happens when the suspension is fully loaded with the 2.5-ton weight of the car on the ground.
Front end knock felt directly through the footwell floor over bumps. Completely disappears under braking.
I'm out of ideas
