I'm just realising that ever since I had the car serviced (few weeks ago) it only ever does the mad double washer thing now. It used to only do that every now and then (depending on hours run or something?).
How would the stealers have cocked that up then? Can disable it myself?

Depends how long you pull back on the lever - short pull and it only does it once. Pull and hold for more than 2 seconds and you get another squirt.

Iirc if you pull the arm it squirts once but if you press the button on the end of the arm it does them long and twice.

Nah, it never used to be like this. It used to do a normal wash 9 times out of 10 and the annoying extended double mentalist one every so often. Now it does it every single time.

Pewters is right if you pull the lever it will/should do it once but if you press the button it does the double wash.........not that he uses at that often with the price of evian these days
