Fantastic spec on the X, would probably have been quicker to list the options not fitted, (a very short list by my reckoning)
Hope it does arrive early for you. Good luck.

Re: Count down begins!
....or of course you can really track by following this.....see third post for details. You're going to need your VIN and also when the car leaves the plant. From there you can track the car.

Awesome - you are going to love it!
Btw, I'd recommend looking at the Trackstar postings on this site - I decided to use an alternative tracker as they don't seem to be used by some BMW dealers anymore due to problems experienced ...

Oh that's interesting. I decided not to proceed with tracker installed via the dealer as lot cheaper else where so am open to suggestion which is best one. That said, current insurance comp not insisting on tracker.

Don't be disappointed when you first listen to it. I have the professional sound on mine, and found it very disappointing at first - but just took a bit of breaking in as speakers usually do. Sounds great now. Maybe the individual is great from the getgo ...

Thanks MJim.
I have a question. Needs some advice on storing an X5!
A work opportunity has come up overseas & may have to consider storing the new X5 for up to 12 months.
Typical I been waiting since February & expecting to collect next week. :0(
I don't want to be selling it before i have even driven it.
Do I risk damage in any way if car is not ticking over?
Any advice that may help me?

Re: Count down begins!
You can't leave a car for 12 month unattended. Battery will need maintenance (like an optimate) , wheels will need to be rotated, engine??. I'm sure you can pay for a professional to store and do all of this.
You might be better either selling it .. or not even taking it from the dealer (your deposit is small compared to 12months losses).
