BMW 'i' powered by Toyota....
BMW have done a deal where the new 'i' models will have Toyota Lithium Ion batteries. In return, Toyota will source 1.6 and 2.0 litre diesel powerplants from BMW. About time Toyota had a more 'interesting' car to drive. Had an Avensis once as a company car, and it was.....safe, stable, reliable.....and boring.
Never anthropomorphise computers. They hate that.
