options for wheel arch ext
as above. what options is there dont really want the black plastic ones ,not a problem to get painted ,something like you get on the 4.6 i think .any help kev

I've got a 4.8is and had the OE extensions colour coded and love them.

What's needed to prep / paint them?

The guys at SCR did mine when they resprayed the rest of the X5 but from memory they had to use a special primer which had to be applied in a number of layers with sanding it in between each layer to get it smooth. Then if wax just painted and clear coated as normal.
