Had my X5 for a couple of years now and the Remote Aux Heating has been working fine, until about a couple of months ago. When the X5 was in for a service at a local BMW specialist I got them to have a look at it for me, cmae back with the conclusion the main unit has gone and would need replacing which was going to cost £600ish, obviously decided against it.
Is there anything I can do/try to fix it?
Thanks
John

Re: Remote Aux Heating Problems
its a minefield mate, bmw are likely to recommend replacing the whole unit anyways, i don't think they try to diagnose what's wrong with it and address any specific faults.
depending on your symptoms this and this might help... or atleast has a wealth of knowledge.
