This seems to be a common fault in all E70s, an issue that BMW seem to ignore and Ive heard a handful of cases of where BMW refuse to replace the part under warranty.
Anyway, replacing the brake actuator, in Ireland the part is around the €800. What can I expect to pay if I look in the UK?

Which actuator are you referring to? Electric handbrake/auto brake? Which model years?
I would expect the costs to be pretty similar for the parts, and labour is typically around €150 plus VAT per hour or more!
