Projector Head Lamp bulb replacement
Can anyone point me to a guide on this forum as to how to change the projector bulb on O/S X5 3.0D?

Done it 
. New bulb (OEM Osram) £45 from local motor factors. Lower left cover screw is a pig (managed with a 1/4" flexi drive) - otherwise straightforward. Absolutely no need to remove bumper and lamp assembly.

BTW anyone wanting to do this (which I fully recommend to save loads of £) should ignore the U-tube video from the US on the subject - euro HID installation is totally different kit!

Just finished changing the nearside - lower right screw even worse 'cos harness that is in the way is fatter that the O/S - plenty of patience needed to locate the stardrive (don't have much but managed with a glass of Charders to steady the hand!). But what a difference the new bulbs make (OEM 4300k) - just shows how the output declines with time!
