Just noticed that my glove box damper is broken………It’s been like it since I bought the car so I thought the way the glove box opened and just dropped down was normal……….Obviously not……..
Just wondering if any forum members have replaced / or fixed the damper.

Re: Glove Box Damper
Well I’m not so sure now………….I’ve got the damper out and split it apart…….I thought that there would be a rubber seal of some sort to provide a dampening action but there’s nothing like that inside…….The extending leg just loosely slides in and out of the damper assembly…..Definitely no damping action…..
I can’t believe that this is right so I’m going to order and fit a new one…
