Well I think I have found where the water has been coming in, the bottom rear of the drivers door seal is flat the membrane is virtually non existent. I cleared the drains ordered a new membrane but not sure what to do about the door seal just yet.
But now I have discovered that to get to the node points it looks as though the driver seat will have to come out Feeling a little out of love with my E70 just at the moment

I have often though about cutting a slit in the outer door seal low down to let the water that collects between the inner and outer out as this is a silly design I hope you can just move the seat to the limit of its travel to get near enough unless its under the carpet which no doubt it is The door seal is probably fine if there are not cuts in it
Following the wiring back from the ehc to the front of the car hopefully shows up something .
