As for the grease monkey ...ironicaly i had a different avatar pic but couldn't resise it to fit  so even though i can diagnose my x and programe the heater etc i'm still useless at some techie stuff

Just to add that the car only had 10miles left on the obc (missus said that the garage was out of fuel again  ) but the heater still worked no probs from the remote and power to pin one

Getting jealous now - mine has never worked since I got the car in Jan.

If I power pin 1 or if the outside temp is low enough, the blower starts up but thats it - no heat. So far I have confirmed that the heater's fuel and water pumps are OK - guess I am going to have to take the unit off and do a strip-down investigatiion.

Hey DM,

Ive got one of these too, it shows on my navigation home screen as Aux heater. Dont know what it does, or how to start it, or stop it for that matter.

From the thread, i See time1 is start time, and time 2 is end time. Is that based upon time displayed in vehicle. I want to test mine tomorrow with the winter freeze coming.

My original post is wrong, timer 2 isn`t the time off it`s just a 2nd switch on time.

You only need to set timer 1 and it automatically runs for 30mins then stops.
