DS TUNING BOX ADVICE?

Can anybody shed any light on these boxes? Are they any good? Do they work? Will they damage my engine/gearbox? I have looked on various websites but the information seems to contradict itself, so any info would be appreciated. Thanks.

Hi I have used a tuning box on quite a few cars and they are quite good I have one fitted to my X1 which goes onto both the fuel rail sensor and the turbo pressure sensor this gives a great increase in torque when I had a curtsey car the other day same model and it felt flat compared to mine and where mine averages around 50 to 53 it was doing 46  to 47 at the best over the 1000 miles I had it

I would fit one to the X5 but the turbo pressure sensor is hard to get to and needs some sound proofing removing so I have a fuel pressure sensor only which works well but not quite as good as the twin systems

Hope this helps ran one on my Vito for 85k and never went wrong

I know people don't like them but hey ho got to remember that to get a huge increase in performance costs £1k's

I have a DTUK twin channel on mine and see no problems and it certainly makes a difference.

If buying one buy a reputable box not an eBay resistor special.

Chip Express, DTUK, P-Tronic, Spider etc they are more expensive but why buy a premium car and put a £10 item on it.
