First MOT price

Went to book my car in for its 3rd Service and the first MOT is due as well.
I have a 5 year Servicing package included, which i'm sure says MOT was included when I check online, but dealer says "No, only any MOT replacement parts are included" you still have to pay for the MOT, is that right?
Dealer is asking for over fifty quid for the first MOT, anyone know of any BMW independents that I can get a ready price from to compare?

Hi
I'm not sure what was included in your car package if new.
Here's a link to gov website and the max fee is £54.85 for a car,
Unfortunately as my car was second hand from BMW they did the MoT in the price of the car, but it does remind me to check my paperwork

I would just pay for the MOT at the dealers, as if it fails they will sort it for nothing and retest for free, as it hasn't left the MOT station, if you get a failure at an independant you will have to have a retest which is chargeable.

5-yr service plan on my X6 did not include the MOT, only servicing costs.
The Dealer only charged £25 for each MOT though.

I would also stick with main dealer......if you go elsewhere dealer may dispute failure items if subject of a claim.
Fwiw I pay £45 and use an independent tester who never gets or expects any work reshlting from failure or advisories.
When you consider purchase price &/or value of your car and likely hassles I am sure that saving a tenner on your on test fee is likely to be irrelevant.
