Experience with Carly Coding

Has anyone used the Carly app for programming? I'm mainly after having the mirrors fold on lock and a couple of other changes. It's £40 and didn't want to splash out if it's a waste of time.

I found it really simple to code the mirrors and electric tailgate on the fob with Carly. Plus a whole lot more. I have an E70 and an E53 though, but I think F25 is covered as well.

You need the Carly dongle for the Carly app to be fully functional - the cheap bluetooth knockoffs don't work very well with the Carly app.

I bought the Carly dongle and app last week.
I've used VCDS before on my VW's, but this is really easy to use.
If you're near Nottingham gimme a shout, and we can sort it.

Mine dont fold on lock, so do all have the motors in them and they just need to be coded to get them to work?

do you have a button on the drivers side mirror Electric windows control panel that folds your mirrors now ??
If so Carly will code them to auto fold. If you have no button and they don't fold  then no

So mine are electric folding, but didn't realise you have to hold the lock button down to fold them. On the flip side i have comfort Access and if you hold the door handle on lock for a few seconds it will also fold the mirrors. Just annoying you can't set it to fold instantly on lock on the idrive.

I coded mine to 0 second delay.
Push the button to lock, mirrors fold  :)

Hi All
i have a Msport X3 F25 2012 and would really like to code the mirrors to 0 Sec and sensors to be active under 5mph (like Mercedes)
also would like to turn off auto Engine stop/start off by default
change the start up logo to Msport
Bip and lights on lock/unclock
Sport Display Active

any suggestion that they are doable and shall i buy the Bluetooth/WiFi dongle and app separately?
i am in Milton Keyens

Cheers
