Hello from Halifax
Finally signed up to the forums after 4 years of very fun ownership of my x5 4.6is. Got off on the wrong foot with it but it’s been a pleasure since. Starting a mini overhaul in the next week or so, wish me luck!

Thanks marti, after fitting a rear diff in a customers x5 3.0d afew years back I test drove it and instantly wanted one. I found the 4.6is I now own on a spares or repairs eBay listing with a single cylinder misfire, I won the auction and was hopeful it was a faulty plug/coil pack, cut a long story short it was the o/s head gasket, then the head was cracked, so it ended up costing another 2k + to get it fixed
