Interior wrap

Post by fergie1471 » Tue Feb 05, 2019 2:27 pm

I have the wood effect in my E70 X5 and i hate it (very old fasioned i think) and I was thinking of getting the wood trim wrapped. Has anyone else done this? I wanted something different than a carbon wrap as iv seen a few car interiors wrapped in carbon and if its not real CF it looks a bit naff on the ones iv seen. Looking for some inspirational pictures otherwise i will probably go for matte black

A friend of mine has done this to his car and it has really transformed the 'feel' of the interior. Some of the wood trims really date the interior and this is a cheap and reasonable way of updating which doesn't have to be intrusive as far as I know.

Not sure where you're based but I had this done to a previous car of mine by these guys and it was very impressive: http://www.kjwraps.co.uk/

Well happy with the results. Got a full valet inside and bought some quality car mats and its like a new car inside now

Looks very good, is it a brushed steel finish?

Some of the wood trims can look old fashioned tho i'm happy with the bamboo in my car. My ideal is the black engine turned finish but doubt i'd bother to change it.
