Don’t remember if it’s been mentioned on here but for those that have the 1999/2000 X5 with the round plug under the bonnet you will also have a 16 pin under the steering, in order to get the 16 pin to give full facilities you need to do this..
Saw it on the site across the pond and just tried it and it’s worked fine on my 99 Alpina.
