Cruise control limited to 180kph, mod possible?

We cruised back from Hamburg yesterday in our new 40d and quickly discovered that cruise control stops at 180kph. That's about 112mph. I wonder if that's some voluntary safety norm in Deutschland, like the 250kph limiters? Anybody know if there's a software mod to raise it to 200 or so? 

I suppose few of you get to Germany often enough to worry about that. Here in France getting caught at that kind of speed will evaporate your license on the spot. I suppose the UK is similar. I'm lucky to have der Vaterland so close.  I'd use the cruise at 210 if the car would do it.

My E70 tops out stock at about 245kph (152mph) which was astonishingly drama free on the autobahn at about 9am with very light traffic. I have not chipped the car yet, but another 80hp should make it easy to hit the 155 limiter, just like in my E91 750is (RIP).
